Contributions to New House, Inc.

Santa Barbara New House, Inc.  is a California Non Profit Corporation governed by a volunteer Board of Directors. The Executive Director oversees a paid staff of five men at each facility who live on site, providing a 24 hour program of sobriety and physical security. Certain curfew, privacy, and overnight pass restrictions are enforced, but comfortable common areas in each house allow for visits from family members and sponsors. Room and board fees are due in advance once employment is achieved, and residents are responsible for any past-due balances. Residents must remain clean and sober while in residence, and are required to participate in assigned housekeeping chores.

New House does not accept funds from government sources and is completely funded by revenue from its residents, from private donations from the public and from grateful former residents.

Several former New House residents have remembered New House in their estate plans. Other forms of planned giving are available to those who wish to minimize their income and estate taxes while continuing the work done at New House.  If you are interested, please ask your attorney, CPA or other advisor to contact New House for additional information.

Contributions are tax deductible under section 501 (c) 3 of the  Internal Revenue Code.
